This likeable patient in his thirties, had a lot of old dentistry done many years ago in the Middle East.
Over time, the old dentistry and missing teeth took their toll and a smile rehabilitation was indicated. Part of the brief for the smile was to improve the shape of the teeth, close the spaces, improve the bite and replace the old, failing bridgework. The bite position had collapsed, the teeth were worn and discoloured and there was a large discrepancy between teeth size/jaw size, which resulted in many gaps between teeth.
A complete smile makeover and bite/functional rehabilitation was undertaken, involving 26 teeth. This young fellow wanted a “Hollywood Smile” and chose a bold, white shade to match his complexion and new smile makeover. He carries it off very well and is very, very happy with his fabulous new smile.
He regularly has positive comments form family, friends and business acquaintances which provides a great boost to his self-esteem and quality of life.
A very satisfying result both for myself and our wonderful patient.
