Can you believe that it is almost already Christmas again? The year has gone so fast I cannot believe it. I gather from a lot of you in my chats with you, that this is somewhat normal! 🙂
Again, I feel so blessed to have so many of you as patients. Over the years, so many of you also have become good friends. Some laugh when they remember the boyish good looks of their dentist some 34 years ago. “You can’t be the dentist” they exclaimed. “You look like you should still be in school!!”
I thought about mentioning a few of you in particular that have become dear friends, but then I thought that this post would become too long and besides which, I am no longer the young boy and I was, and I am afraid that if I missed someone, you would think I am over the hill.
Thank you for all the kind words, the pleasant emails, the fun sms text messages, the Thank You cards and gifts to the Team, the wonderful Google reviews , and all of the referrals of friends and loved ones. Our Word-of-Mouth referrals are still our largest source of referrals, and I thank you for your trust in us here at Simply Beautiful Smiles.
There are some famous words written – “Life was not meant to be easy my child”, and often the tail end of this oft used phrase is left off – “but take courage: it can be delightful.” (George Bernard Shaw). I know that times can sometimes be very difficult and that going to the dentist can often be a fate worse than death as some have put it, but I would like to think that at the end of the day, I have helped in some small way to bring a smile to most of the faces that come to visit.
Please, if you have any niggling dental issues, try to visit as soon as possible. We already have very little appointment time before now and when we break for the Christmas holidays.
Our annual shut down for the Christmas break starts at NOON on Friday 20th December 2019. We reopen at 8:00am on Monday 6th January 2020.
